LIFO/FIFO are two very common scenarios in many different real world applications. LIFO stands for last in first out and can be seen in places like stacks of plates in a cafeteria and in a deck of playing cards. FIFO, on the other hand, stands for first in first out, which is used in check out lines in the grocery store or wait lines to get into a concert.

The application has two different game modes, Pile Up and Line Up. Both are memory games with dogs as the main character.

To start the game, click New and the game will begin.

PILE UP

In Pile Up, the dogs are creating a new Dog Pile. As each dog jumps onto the pile, the pile grows. As dogs jump off, you need to remember which dog is on top of the pile.
Each round lasts 60 seconds and increases in difficulty with the pile getting bigger and bigger.

LINE UP

In Line Up, the dogs are getting into line and waiting patiently behind one another. As more dogs are added, the line grows. As dogs are served, you need to remember who is the first dog to be served.
Each round lasts 60 seconds and increases in difficulty with the line getting longer and longer.
